The biodiversity of aquatic birds in the North-East of Algeria

The Setif region boasts abundant wetlands, which serve as vital ecosystems harboring a significant and diverse avian biodiversity. This ecological richness holds both economic and ecological significance. Within the scope of our research, we undertook the task of conducting an extensive survey of aquatic bird populations and conducted an in-depth analysis of the avian fauna inhabiting the wetlands within the Setif area. This endeavor allowed us to compile a comprehensive inventory encompassing species observed during the period from 2019 to 2020. Our findings revealed the presence of an impres

FREQUENCY AND MECHANISM OF ANTERIOR CRUCIATE LIGAMENT INJURY AMONG FOOTBALL PLAYERS OF PESHAWAR: A CROSS SECTIONAL STUDY

Injuries to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in professional athletes can result in lengthy absences from sports and perhaps endanger their careers. Contact and noncontact are the two primary mechanisms of ACL damage. Noncontact mechanisms are responsible for 60–70% of ACL injuries. The neuromuscular and bio mechanical variables that play a role in this process will be explored in more detail later in the section on injury prevention. To determine mechanism of anterior cruciate ligament injury among football players of Peshawar. A cross sectional study was used to conduct data in Peshawa

Evaluation of Epidemiological and Anatomopathological Profile of Breast Cancer in Young Women in Sétif City, Algeria

Breast cancer is a real public health problem because of the lack of early diagnosis and treatment, which is often delayed. In terms of incidence, breast cancer remains the most common cancer in women. The aim of this study is to evaluate the epidemiological profile and identify the anatomopathological features of breast cancer in young women aged 40 and under in the north-eastern region of Algeria (Sétif). Our work is based on a retrospective study of 40 cases admitted in the Setif medical oncology department during a period from January 2021 to March 2023. Epidemiological data show that the

The family of Scarabaiedae which includes both rolling insects, tribe Gymnopleurini represented by 2 species and burrowing insects, tribe (Onthophagini, Coprini and Onitini) represented in our study by 13 species, the family Geotrupidae, repre

Surface Water Characterization Of Guebli River, Tamalous Plain (North East Algeria)

Water resources are developed either to use or to control groundwater and surface water flows. A developmental activity for the use of water comprises studying the availability of and demand for water and contemplating project that can meet the expected needs from available supplies by means of engineering works and scientific work. The tamalous basin, on the middle course of Guebli River), is the largest of the basins internal elements of the Kabyle base. Forming a triangle of around ten kilometers on each side, it is closed to the north by Djebel Guern Aicha which culminates at 561m and whic
