A study of the structure of the coprophagous beetle population was carried out between December 2018 and December 2019. In the region of Oued Enja wilaya de Mila. Sampling was carried through using CSR type traps. The harvest allowed us to capture nearly 5116 individuals belonging to 25 species, organized into 3 guilds (residents, burrowers and rollers). The family of Scarabaiedae which includes both rolling insects, tribe Gymnopleurini represented by 2 species and burrowing insects, tribe (Onthophagini, Coprini and Onitini) represented in our study by 13 species, the family Geotrupidae, represented by only one species (Thorectes geminatus) and the family of Aphodiidae tribe Aphodiini represented by 9 species. Our results show that the peak of activity during the sampling period was observed in early spring, the most dominant species are the burrowers of Mediterranean origin, the specific richness varies between the two seasons may be due to climatic conditions and the abundance of trophic resources.
