This work is a contribution to the study of the zooplanktons of the aquatic ecosystems of the Chlef region. This is the first inventory since the last research of Ghauthier 1928. The inventory was based on samples collected from 12 freshwater bodies (reservoirs, ponds, ditches, oueds and dams) during the wet period of 2021. The sites contain a diverse zooplanktons fauna, among which are 3 taxonomic groups: ostracods, cladocerans, and copepods. A total of 15 taxa were identified. Cyclops viridis and Daphnia magna is the most common in the majority of the sampled sites. The Cladocera Corenattell
The great economic importance of sugar beet determines the ongoing biotechnological studies conducted worldwide to improve the technology of obtaining doubled haploids (DHs) using the method of unpollinated ovule culture in vitro. To improve the induction of gynogenesis, we tested the effect of thidiazuron (TDZ), temperature bud pretreatment, different concentrations of sucrose, and culturing on liquid or solid medium. Three genotypes were tested in this study. The use of TDZ at a concentration of 0.4 mg/L in solid IMB (induction medium for Beta vulgaris) induction nutrient medium with 3 g/
A complete mechanization process is thought to be inevitable for modern tobacco agriculture development. In order to accelerate the process of tobacco agriculture mechanization from the perspective of organizational management, this paper conducts a retrospective study on the exploration and practice of full-process mechanization in tobacco leaf production in Xuchang, Henan Province as a pilot project. The key points are summarized, and a theoretical model for full-process mechanization in tobacco production is constructed based on the grounded theory, which includes 4 main categories, 12 s
Color preference assay is a test for an animal’s innate and adaptive response to differentiate colors and can be used as an endpoint for psychoactive activity evaluation. Several color preference test methods in aquatic animals that can be used to perform behavioral screening have been established. However, the color preference test conditions have yet to be extensively studied and standardized in aquatic invertebrates. This study aimed to replicate and optimize the previously published method to evaluate the potential color preference in freshwater crayfish based on four different ap
Soil acidification is an important factor leading to the occurrence and spread of tobacco bacterial wilt. In this experiment, different amounts of quicklime were used to improve acidified tobacco-planting soil, and the effects of quicklime on structure and metabolic function of bacterial community in acidified soil and the relationships between soil bacterial community and environmental factors were analyzed. The results showed that the appropriate amount of quicklime (1 200-1 500 kg/hm2) improved the Sobs, Shannon, Ace and Chao1 indexes of the bacterial community in acidified soil and the
