In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of the Lasioderma serricorne was sequenced and analysed. The mitochondrial genome is 14,476 bp long and contains 13 protein-coding genes, two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes, and two non-coding region. Twenty three genes were found to be encoded by the majority strand and the other 14 genes by minority strand, those similar to that of other insects. The nucleotide compositing of the majority strand is 39.74% of A, 11.20% of C, 40.47% of T, and 10.39% of G. The phylogenetic analysis by maximum-likelihood (ML) method revealed that the L. serricorne
To study the rewetting characteristics of tobacco strips during the redrying stage, a conjugate heat and mass transfer model of tobacco strips was established based on their physical properties. The fundamental relationship between the multiphysical fields and humidity fields of tobacco strips and the key process parameters was considered in this model, and the feasibility of the model was verified via experiments. Based on this model, the transfer and variation laws of the moisture content, humidification rate, and temperature of tobacco strips under different relative humidity and tempera
Smoking article inspection systems configured to inspect smoking articles are provided. The systems may include imaging devices configured to capture images of an exterior of the smoking article and an analysis unit configured to analyze the images captured by the imaging devices. The analysis unit may execute an edge detection tool configured to determine a position of the smoking article based on an edge location of the smoking article and a defect detection tool configured to determine whether the smoking article is defective after the position of the smoking article is determined. The i
Tobacco bushy top disease is a complex disease caused by mixed infection of Tobacco bushy top virus (TBTV), Tobacco vein distorting virus (TVDV), satellite RNA of TBTV (Sat-TBTV) and Tobacco vein distorting virus associate RNA (TVDVaRNA). A one-tube multiplex reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) assay was developed for simultaneous detection of the four causal agents of the disease. Four pairs of specific primers based on the conserved regions of each of the four disease agents were used in the one-tube RT-PCR. The RT-PCR products consisted of fragments of 1049 base pairs (bp) for TBTV, 792bp
This study employs the EIQ analysis approach to quantitatively examine the real order data of the cigarette distribution center in an effort to further increase the efficiency of cigarette sorting and distribution. To further increase the accuracy and efficiency of sorting labor, a sorting system based on QR code information and an accurate identification algorithm is proposed with the use of statistical data and the associated planning scheme. According to the system simulation findings, the sorting efficiency of the system’s sorting line is 18570 pieces per hour. However, by adding pack
