Abstract : In a previous paper, sea wave energy in the Phan Thiet (Binh Thuan) sea was studied using the point absorber method [1]. In this paper, we study and modeling to improve wave energy harvesting efficiency to support aquaculture in this sea area. We collected parameters of the wave energy in Phan Thiet sea in 2018 and combined them with the floating body dynamics equation for a point absorber buoy, we studied and analyzed the absorber dynamics equation with the aim of maximizing absorbed power by providing a natural period that is close to the predominant wave periods of the sea site for the point absorber buoy. The numerical results are presented for the absorber in regular waves show that the harvesting efficiency increases about 10 percent compared to pre-study. This is a prospect for developing ocean energy to support marine aquaculture.
